Vapour/Hydro Blasting
Vapour blasting is similar to other abrasive blasting methods such as sandblasting, but has one important difference: water is added in the case of vapour blasting.
Due to the addition of water, vapour blasting is a gentler process and does not generate heat. The result is a much smoother surface profile compared to dry blasting and is ideal for polishing certain types of metals whilst still removing corrosion effectively.
Laser Corrosion Removal
Laser corrosion removal is a process that involves using a high-energy laser beam to clean or remove corrosion from surfaces.
The laser beam is directed at the corroded area, where it rapidly heats and vaporises the corrosion, leaving behind a clean surface without damaging the underlying substrate. It is a fast and efficient process that is extremely environmentally friendly as it does not use chemicals or abrasives to clean surfaces.
Sand Blasting
Sandblasting is a technique used to clean, smooth, or roughen surfaces by forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material known as “media” against the surface using high pressure air.
The abrasive material, which is typically sand, steel grit, glass beads or nut shells effectively removes paint, rust, corrosion, or other coatings from a surface after which it can then be protected by applying a new coating such as paint or varnish.
Industrial Spray Painting
Industrial spray painting is a method of applying paint or coatings to surfaces using specialised spray equipment.
This technique is commonly used in industrial settings for large-scale projects such as painting machinery, equipment, or structures. More so than aesthetics, the primary purpose of paint is to be a protective barrier against the elements.
